With a soon upcoming deadline for Riot Game's summer internship I will be switching gears from my previously outlined building destruction effect to character oriented effects. I will be using the character animation from imbueFX's AoE Ground attack tutorial, along with some environment art resembling the map from League of Legend's Summoner's Rift. Since I want a large array of effects to submit in a demo reel and to show off at GDC I will be splitting the effects into two categories for both my work in 445 as well as 545. For 445 I will be focusing on "defensive" character effects, such as shields and walls. I will be focusing on offensive effects for 545. This will entail things like blasts and AoE "aura" abilities.
